Jimenez helps Rockies blank Pirates (AP)

Ubaldo Jimenez pitched three-hit ball for eight innings and Carlos Gonzalez homered early, sending the Colorado Rockies over the Pittsburgh Pirates 8-0 Wednesday night. Jimenez (10-9) won his fourth straight decision. He became the fourth member of the Rockies' rotation with double-digit victories, joining Jason Marquis, Aaron Cook and Jorge De La Rosa.

Rockies OF Fowler to have MRI on knee (AP)

Colorado Rockies center fielder Dexter Fowler was scheduled to have a precautionary MRI exam on his left knee after hurting himself in a win over the Chicago Cubs. The MRI was set for Tuesday. On Monday, the rookie crashed face-first into the wall after catching Geovany Soto's drive in the ninth inning.

Helton, Fowler lead Rockies by Cubs 11-5 (AP)

Todd Helton had three hits to extended his hitting streak to 14 games, Dexter Fowler scored three times and the Colorado Rockies beat the Chicago Cubs 11-5 on Sunday. Carlos Gonzalez also had three hits for Colorado, which had 14 hits. Milton Bradley went 4-for-5 and Koyie Hill had three hits for the Cubs, who had a season-high 17 hits despite playing most of the game without manager Lou Piniella.

Kosuke Fukudome and Derrek Lee homered, leading the Chicago Cubs past Jason Marquis and the Colorado Rockies 6-5 on Saturday night. The win allowed the Cubs to remain a game behind the St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Central and snapped the Rockies' 15-game winning streak over teams from that division.

Zambrano scratched, Cubs fall to Rockies (AP)

The Colorado Rockies took advantage of the late scratch of Chicago Cubs starter Carlos Zambrano for a 6-2 victory Friday night. About 15 minutes before the start of the game, Zambrano was scratched because of a recurrence of a lower back injury. The Rockies jumped on emergency fill-in Sean Marshall for three runs in two innings.

Chicago Cubs right-hander Carlos Zambrano was scratched about 15 minutes before his scheduled start Friday night against the Colorado Rockies with a lower back problem. Phillies’ Lee tops Rockies in home debut (AP)

Cliff Lee pitched seven impressive innings in his home debut, Paul Bako hit a tiebreaking homer and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Colorado Rockies 3-1 Thursday. Lee (2-0) allowed one run and six hits, striking out nine in his first start at Citizens Bank Park since the Phillies acquired him from Cleveland last week.

J.A. Happ struck out a career-high 10 in his second shutout of the season, leading the Philadelphia Phillies to a 7-0 win over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday night. Jimmy Rollins, Jayson Werth and Pedro Feliz all homered. Happ (8-2) tossed a four-hitter in his latest outstanding outing, making a strong argument to remain in Philadelphia's rotation.
