Cubs' Ramirez leaves with sore shoulder (AP)
Chicago Cubs third baseman Aramis Ramirez left the game in the fifth inning Saturday night against Colorado with soreness in his left shoulder. Jake Fox replaced Ramirez in the field in the bottom of the inning. Ramirez was 0 for 3 with two strikeouts. He also bobbled a hard grounder in the fourth, an error that contributed to a four-run inning for the Rockies.

Jays' Cecil, O's Roberts suffer injuries (AP)
Blue Jays rookie left-hander Brett Cecil has left Toronto's game against Baltimore in the fifth inning with a sore left knee. Cecil was injured Saturday when he fell while trying to field a one-out bunt single by Robert Andino. Cecil was replaced by Brian Tallet. He allowed two runs and five hits in 4 1-3 innings after coming in with a 5-1 record and a 4.36 ERA.

Rays' Garza admits throwing at Teixeira (AP)
Tampa Bay's Matt Garza hit New York Yankees slugger Mark Teixeira with a fifth-inning pitch Wednesday night, then said he did it because he's tired of opposing pitchers throwing at Rays All-Star Evan Longoria.
